2024 Landscape Contest

The Landscaping Contest is back for 2024!
 
Please see the attached flyer for the 2024 White Hill Square Spring Landscaping Contest. This event is designed as an incentive for individual homeowners to enhance the beauty of their landscaping. 
 
Ron Wilson from Natorp’s will judge your photos as to the curbside appeal of your landscaping. To win a prize, the homeowner must be current as to annual dues and in good standing with the HOA. Happy Spring to all White Hill Square Homeowners!
 
The annual White Hill Square Garage Sale occurred last Friday and Saturday. Participation increased to 18 homeowners this year. We hope you enjoyed the event, got outside, maybe talked to a few neighbors or even sold a few gently used items!

Are you a new homeowner? Please know you automatically became a member of the White Hill Square Homeowners Association (HOA) when you purchased a home in our community. The purpose of the HOA is to protect your investment and enhance the beauty of our community. Please go to whshoa.org to read the entire Code of Regulations and other forms and documents pertinent to the HOA.

Additionally, please remember: 
1) Remember that “family friendly” signs can be up for only a period of two weeks before an event. Business signs are not permitted. Political signs can be up no more than 30 days prior to an election and 7 days after an election. 
 
2) Recreational vehicles and boats may be parked for loading, unloading and cleaning for a period not to exceed 48 hours. After 48 hours, the recreational vehicle or boat must be stored in your garage, size permitting, or moved to an offsite storage location.
 
3) Trailers (ex: utility, boxed) are not permitted to be parked or stored on any lot and size permitting, must be placed in your garage or moved to an offsite storage location. 
 
4) Other than trash cans or recycling bins, please do not store miscellaneous items at the top of driveways or between homes. Example-Lawn Equipment such as mowers and wheelbarrows should be stored in the garage or if necessary, behind and next to the home where the item cannot be seen from the street. 
 
Finally, an Annual Meeting of homeowners is planned in November of 2023. About a month beforehand, each homeowner will be notified of the exact date and location by regular mail. If Eclipse has your email, you will be notified by email, too. Please contact Eclipse if you have not previously provided your email address. We hope to see you at the Annual Meeting.

Inoperable Vehicles and those on street with Expired Tags

Greetings White Hill Square Homeowners!
 
Don’t forget our upcoming annual meeting on Saturday September 18 at Keehner Park. All homeowners will be receiving an invitation by mail to the meeting from our new partner and association manager, Eclipse Community Management.
 
Part of the mission of your HOA Board of Trustees and Eclipse is to maintain the beauty of our community. With this in mind, the Board would like to remind you “inoperable vehicles” cannot be parked or stored on any lot.  Examples would be cars with leaking fluid, flat tires or on jacks. When these vehicles are noticed, Eclipse will send a letter reminding you of the rule in our HOA documents. To avoid a letter, if you do not intend to drive the vehicle, please move it inside the garage or store the vehicle offsite.
 
For any homeowner with a vehicle on the street with expired tags, a reminder that all COVID-19 extensions have ended. If the expiration date on your driver license is March 9, 2020 and after, it is time to renew.  To renew your license plate, visit a deputy registrar license agency at https://bit.ly/3fTW02N by using the "Get In Line, Online "system at https://bit.ly/2Otx9r0 OR renew vehicle registrations online through BMV Online Services at https://bit.ly/3mCWD1R.

Association Management Partner Announcement

Dear White Hill Square Homeowner:
 
We hope you are finding some shade during this hot weather.
 
If you recall from our last post, the Board was in process of choosing a new management company for our HOA. We are pleased to let you know Eclipse Community Management is the choice of the Board.
 
Eclipse manages approximately 20 homeowner and condominium associations throughout Southwest Ohio. Chris Vecchi is the managing partner and Joseph DiTommaso is the association manager that will be supporting White Hill Square. The effective date of the change is July 1, 2021. Starting then, please direct communication regarding our HOA to:

Protect Our Lakes and Ponds...Don’t Dump into Storm Drains

Your HOA maintains the retention ponds with aerators that pump oxygen in the water and we have hired Lake Doctors to help us maintain a healthy and clean bio-system in our retention ponds.  This includes monitoring the sediment that builds up over time at the bottom of the retention basins.  Lake Doctors treats our retention ponds with additives that digest the organic matter and control the build up of organic sediment.  We also seed our retention ponds with a fish that eats the grasses and other organic matter - keeping the depth at a healthy level.
 
Dredging our retention basins would cost several hundred thousand dollars...
